Daytime Make-up

Hello everyone!

I’m going to start 2016 showing you a simple tutorial for a daytime makeup to achieve a flawless face in a few steps; the goal is to cover imperfections, define your bone structure and stand out your features in a natural way.

Skin Preparation

No matter what kind of makeup you’re going to wear, your skin should be prepared. After cleansing your face apply an appropriate moisturizer for your skin type; and don’t forget the eye contour cream. Allow the moisturizer to absorb into the skin for a few minutes before moving on to the next step.

Then apply a primer, it will help to condition the skin for makeup products and make them last longer.

Foundation

For daily usage is best to use a tinted moisturizer foundation or a BB Cream, these products unify the skin tone without being heavy and have components that care for the skin; remember to use a foundation that matches your skin tone.

If needed, you can apply concealer after the foundation; although generally a good foundation covers small imperfections.

Seal foundation

Powder is essential to seal the foundation. Personally I use loose powder on my face because it works better than compact, but all depends on your skin type.

Eyes

Choose a soft eye shadow that resembles your skin color (to unify the eyelid’s color); apply it throughout the eyelid up to the eyebrow. Then you can mark the depth and/or the eye socket with a soft brown shade and make a soft eyeliner. Other color options for the day are soft shades of pink, bronze, blue and gray; try using matte shadows.

If you wish you can only do the eyeliner and blend a little with a Q-Tip to avoid a hard line.

If you look tired, apply eyeliner in ivory tone in the lower water line.

You must never forget eyelash mascara, it helps you to open the eyes (and takes away the sleepy face). You must also define the eyebrows, the best thing for this is to use an eyebrows mask because it adds color without exaggerating while maintaining the shape of the eyebrows: 2 steps in 1.

Lips

Wear a pink or nude lipstick to define the lips and give them a terse and hydrated look throughout
the day.

Stand out your features

If you have time, you can apply bronzer and highlighter to stand out your features; but if you need something faster, blush is the star product.

I know they seem to be so many steps, but with practice you can make a quick and easy day makeup, with which you will look more awake and neat.
