Zombie – Makeup inspired by “The Cranberries”

Hello everyone!

Do you remember the song "Zombie" by The Cranberries? One of the things that impressed me at that time was a scene in which the singer wore a golden skin, and in past days listening to the song again, I’ve got inspired to do a makeup with that look.

Zombie inspired makeup

The gold foundation couldn’t be missed, because it is what stands out in that take on the video. I added small changes as a red eyeliner and lips mixed with iridescent pigment, and a black line over the red eyeliner.

Products used:

  •  Liquid makeup (gold tone) by Pintafan.
  • 120 shadows palette by Coastal Scents.
  • Iridescent pigment.
  • Color Tattoo "Metallic Pomegranate" by Maybelline.
  • Headdress made by me ... I also do accessories, so little by little they will appear on the blog

The controversy of Zombie

As a bonus I’m going to tell you that in 1994 this video caused some controversy, because it is a protest song generated by an attack occurred in the city of Warrington in 1993, which ended with the deaths of 2 children.

The scene where the singer Dolores O'Riordan appears in gold, is inspired by the martyrdom of St. Sebastian.

Here is the video for you to enjoy!

Thanks for coming, you are welcome to like and share with your friends.

Until the next post!
